A+ Academics is a privately owned school and was built from the ground up. We officially opened in 2007 which marks this year our 14th year of meeting the developmental needs of children and preparing them for their elementary school years!
Art Projects
Art expands a child’s ability to interact with the world around them! It provides new sets of skills for self-expression and communication. Art also helps develop the right side of the brain and also cultivates important sills that benefits their development!
Outside Play
Outside play is great for social skills between all the children. At these ages, it’s important for children to learn those social skills as well as communicative skills between one another!
Curriculum
We have a very unique curriculum here at A+ Academics. Our main focus is getting your child prepared for their elementary experience. Every day the children have a structured curriculum packet that focuses on the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, motor skills, writing their names, and many other concepts!
Our Philosophy
It has been said, we learn more our first five years than any other period of our lives. We believe this is to be true and emphasize the importance of the preschool years. We feel, as adults, we must provide young children with copious amounts of love, acceptance, and patience.
We must establish a rich environment to explore freely without the fear of failure. They must touch, smell, manipulate, build, break, and try again. Creativity is inventive, flexible, and free. When preschoolers are engaged in active play with peers, they’re also learning to deal with emotions (feelings), problem solving skills, patience, and tolerance.
Our main priority here at A+ Academics is to give children a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment to prepare them for their elementary school years.
We provide a structured environment that indulge age appropriate and educationally planned activities that meet the developmental needs of children.
